Why we built it
Finding somewhere to live is stressful enough. Finding the right people to live with is harder, and it is the part the usual room sites get wrong. They match you on rent and postcode, then leave the things that actually make a home work, cleanliness, sleep, guests, noise, faith, food, to chance.
We think you should be able to match on those things first. Likewise asks how you really live, then surfaces people you would genuinely get on with, so the conversation starts from common ground instead of a viewing full of surprises.

Who we are
Likewise is an independent startup, founded by Saniya and Lina and built in London. We are starting in London first, one neighbourhood at a time, so that early members actually have people to match with nearby.
